Well guys, awards season is sweeping through Hollywood!  I’ll do my Oscar predictions for ya’ll in a couple weeks, but the SAGs just hit, as did the PGAs, so I thought I’d give out my own fake awards to some movies, recognizing more than just my favorite movies of the year.

So without further ado, here are some awards for some movies I thought would be worth recognizing!

Best Picture

WINNER: La La Land

Best Director

WINNER: Damien Chazelle (La La Land)
RUNNER-UPS: Peter Berg (Patriot’s Day), Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverifled Land)

RUNNER-UPS: Ryan Gosling (La La Land), Andrew Garfield (Hacksaw Ridge)

 

Best Lead Actress

WINNER: Emma Stone (La La Land)
RUNNER-UPS: Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring 2), Hailee Steinfeld (The Edge of Seventeen)

 

Best Supporting Actor

WINNER: Jason Bateman (Zootopia)
RUNNER-UPS: John Goodman (10 Cloverfield Lane), Lucas Hedges (Manchester by the Sea)

 

Best Supporting Actress

WINNER: Madison Wolfe (The Conjuring 2)
RUNNER-UPS: Teresa Palmer (Hacksaw Ridge), Angourie Rice (The Nice Guys)

 

Best Screenplay

WINNER: Zootopia
RUNNER-UPS: Nocturnal Animals, Patriot’s Day

 

Best Music

Best Cast

WINNER: Lights Out
RUNNER-UPS: The Conjuring 2, Blair Witch

 

Best Bad Movie

*(the movie I couldn’t get myself to give a good grade, but still didn’t hate myself for watching…)*
WINNER: The Shallows
RUNNER-UPS: Ghostbusters, Sausage Party

 

Most Underrated Movie

WINNER: Everybody Wants Some!!
RUNNER-UPS: Blair Witch, Nerve
