You are absolutely correct. You need to see a Star Wars movie more than once. When I saw Episode IV in 1977 ( at age 15), the effects were overwhelming, totally cutting edge, and dominant in my eyes. I returned to the theatre 4 more times that summer and, every time, picked up things I missed in the previous screenings.
