American Sniper Review

Preface

After this movie was nominated for, what?, 7 or 8 Oscars I decided, hey let’s go see American Sniper!
So American Sniper is about this guy named Chris Kyle who is assumed to be the deadliest sniper in the history of America.
And it isn’t only a really solid war movie, but it’s a good movie!

And it turns out I had so much to say about Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, I wanted to recommend the film, give you guys some time to see it too if you haven’t already, and then come back here and here my deeper discussion of the rest.

Preface

The first Night at the Museum came out in 2006, when I was a kid and I really loved that movie.
- Looking back on it now, it was a fun time with a really solid story and some good laughs.
Then I saw the second when it came out in 2009. And I didn’t like it as much as the first because the first was so new and defining!
- Looking back now, yeah the script wasn’t as solid and it felt like kind of a cash-grab sequel.
- Still a fun time, though maybe not a fresh review…
And I saw Secret of the Tomb tonight (finally) with some of my friends and all I wanted was some fun, childish humor and a couple good performances, and that would be enough to keep me entertained.
- Man, I was wrong!!
  - As usual!
- This wasn’t Pixar or Disney level film, but it was really solid, and super enjoyable!

Ya know, when I was watching this thinking of the code-cracking part like an episode of Sherlock.
THEN I realized the tie between both: they both take place in England

Even though this is a 2014 film, it looks like 2015 is off to a bang!
- And by “bang” I mean the sound that the gun will make after I shoot myself for having to watch this movie……
Guys, it’s bad.
