It’s roughly 1:30 a.m., which means the West Coast has seen the Live Another Day finale, and I can talk spoilers on it! 24: Live Another Day Review
After the finale of this season aired, I turned to my brother who was sitting next to me and just said, “that was great television”.
24: Live Another Day is the ‘limited time revival run’ of 24, the show we all loved when it was on or when we binged it on Netflix (yeah that’s me). But in either case, that is the show I won’t be reviewing, I’ll only be talking about the limited run. I may do a review of the original 24 at some point, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen some seasons, and I missed a few episodes in a couple seasons, but in any case it is one of my favorite show’s ever. Also, this review is spoiler-free, there will be a spoiler-heavy review in the next few days but this is not it!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Review
I’m pretty glad ABC Family still does their ‘Harry Potter Weekends’, and I’m even more glad that they are doing them more often now so people like me can re-watch the whole series after a while.
Small note to start off: I will be talking some very minor spoilers in this movie. Nothing shattering to the Potter universe, but if small details will both you then feel free to click here and check out the random article it’s sending you to. Though if you have not seen the Harry Potter movies by now and are looking for an opinion, honest to God: GO WATCH THEM. That being said here are my thoughts on Deathly Hallows Part 2, my first viewing of it in a couple years.
Why I’m Excited: FOX’s Gotham
I was thinking of doing a ‘Fall TV Preview’ post, where I would say my thoughts on each new show coming out on each network, but then I realized there are some I’m more excited for than others, and– wait… Don’t I have a segment where I exclusively talk about things I’m more excited for than others? I do! It’s seems like forever since I’ve done one of these, but regardless, I’ve been catching up on 24: Live Another Day on Fox.com, and they always play the promos for Gotham. So here is Why I’m Excited: Gotham.
Like the My Movie Thoughts Facebook Page!
Recently I’ve been working on getting some kind of social media connection for this site up and running, and a summer Friday at midnight was as good as any. Right?
In any case, the web address of the page is as follows: www.facebook.com/MyMovieThoughts. The past week especially with the two advanced reviews I’ve been wanting to launch a page just for this. In all irony, I launched this site to annoy my Twitter followers less, yet my promotions for the site may have annoyed them more… Now the Facebook page can take over for that and maybe I’ll go beyond 123 followers!
I’ll also be posting just random news, trailers and quick thoughts on the page if there isn’t enough to spend a whole 800 word review on. Or if I just think it’s worth checking out.
I’ve also been thinking that in about 7 or 8 weeks I’ll be back in school, and therefore won’t be able to post something as often. I will try to do two posts a week one that schedule, but it won’t be as frequent as this. And because of that, I’m working on another special announcement for you all that you can expect probably next week…
I haven’t formally said this yet, but I could not be any happier with the response to this site, and I hope it only gets bigger and bigger from here. You’ll see the cover photo of the Facebook page really says it all, and I’m so happy to be sharing my passion with all of you. And thank you for letting me do that. 🙂
