Jupiter Ascending Review

Preface

There are two quick ways of me describing me this movie.
“So you know those movie mistake sections in, like, People Magazine? Those ones where it’s like, oh she was wearing this color nail polish in one shot, but the next shot she isn’t wearing any. You know those? Yeah, that’s this entire movie.”
Or……
“This movie kinda reminds me of The Phantom Menace had a kid with Prometheus and that kid is being water-boarded by Divergent. And yeah, that ain’t good.”

Preface

I don’t even know where to start with this movie!!
- That’s not because it’s bad or good either, I just don’t even know where to begin.
Thank God it isn’t Fifty Shades of Grey…
- And yeah, sorry MyMovieThoughts.com fanboys, that review won’t be hitting your screens ever. EVER.
Two words come to mind when watching this movie:
- Trip.
- Also acceptable: Berserk. Ridiculous.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day who reads this blog and he asked me, “what’s your favorite of your own posts?”
- And I’m like, “well it’s pretty recent but I put in a lot of time to the Rumor: Will Spidey Go to Marvel? Discussion.
No less than three weeks later, it’s fact!

Now that you guys know how hyped I am for this, I’m gonna spend most of this article actually discussing how I think it should go down because I’ve had straight-up me-monologuing-at-my-friends-for-unholy-amounts-of-time-about-this-topic conversations, just prepping for this post!

When iSpot.tv said there was gonna be a Batman v. Superman trailer during the Super Bowl, I actually believed them.
That being said, I’m gonna be on a trip this week Wednesday through Sunday so no reviews of Jupiter Ascending (whew…) or The SpongeBob Movie (whew again…).
But I GUARANTEE a Batman v. Superman trailer will drop during that time, and I’m sorry, I know I’m letting you all down once again…
But during the Super Bowl, there was another trailer that I thought was pretty interesting…

This year’s Super Bowl was a really solid game (from the point of view of a big New England fan…) but the trailers were kinda lackluster!
But then there was one deep into the game that stood out about the others…
