If you haven’t yet seen Avengers: Age of Ultron, then apparently you aren’t a real American.

Avengers: Age of Ultron Review

Preface

Yeah, yeah, yeah insert joke here about the, ‘low budget, indie film with a relatively unknown cast’ that I saw tonight.
Fact is, Ultron was my second most anticipated of 2015, and OH MY GOD AVENGERS IS AWESOME.
- I’ll say this: it isn’t perfect, but it met my expectations.

Premise

You guys probably know what this movie is about but if you don’t…
In the follow-up to 2012’s The Avengers, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, Thor, and the rest of the gang accidentally create an AI that is bent on world domination. This globe-trotting film further develops each of the characters without sacrificing laughs, yet also making it darker and much more complex. More on that later.

Hello All!
I just wanted to make a slight apology, but not really.
The past few months, as you all could probably deduce, weren’t great for movies.
There were plenty of movies that came out, but not a ton of reviews for me to do.
That being said, I was able to crank out 2 reviews, a LOT of Trailer Talks, and some news coverage.
THAT being said, this month of May will be a little lackluster the first week. Of course we got an Avengers Review coming at you guys tomorrow night, followed probably by an Avengers Spoiler-Talk.
Then some news, trailers, if it’s worth talking about but then a review of Pitch Perfect 2 (cuz you guys know I’m reliable like that), definitely a review of Tomorrowland, definitely a review of Poltergeist. And I’ll try to squeeze in either Hot Pursuit or San Andreas depending on which I have more time for. Possible both, but with school wrapping up… Eh?
This summer will be chocked full of content though.

In Conclusion

In Conclusion, there’s the “slate” of My Movie Thoughts reviews hopefully coming at y’all for the next month or so, and yeah I apologize on behalf of the months of March and April at the cinema… And ya know, for me not posting as much… Anyways, and as always, thanks for reading guys.

Preface

With the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron later this week, I wanted to do a list of my 10 favorite superhero movies!
As of April 2015 that is.
Cuz I know we have like 17 dozen coming out over the next five years.
- That being said, every couple of years maybe I’ll do an updated list?
- But here it is as of 2015!
And my typical disclaimer: this is my subjective list. These may not be the movies you guys all love, maybe there’s a movie on this list that you hate, you could be all: pfffft! Or, you could be cool and hear me out, then post your favorites in the comments down below!
I’ll do two or three honorable mentions at the end too.
Without further ado, let’s go into some of my favorite movies from one of my favorite genres right now! Starting it off with number 10!

Wow, another movie review!
Yeah with all the trailers being released recently, I found it ironic when there were literally no trailers shown before my showing of Age of Adaline tonight!

Premise

The Age of Adaline is a romantic drama about a woman named Adaline who magically stops aging, naturally this causes some issues in her personal life (with family and friends and gentlemen friends) and now we get to see it unfold!
And while the pacing is off throughout, well, nearly the whole movie it is pretty enjoyable.
