The Flash Premiere Review

Sorry guys, I was a little busy this past week and just got to seeing the Premiere (cuz I guess it’s not a Pilot?) to The Flash Yesterday. So let’s discuss the CW’s new show about CW’s version of The Flash… On CW! And you’ll know why I say that in a minute.

Also this review will contain some minor spoilers from the Premiere of The Flash, nothing that will ruin it if you haven’t seen the episode, but chances are if you’re reading this you already have seen the show. Anyhow, let’s discuss!

Mean Girls Review

First Intro Statement: Mean Girls is not a chick-flick, so let’s get that out of the way right here.

Second Intro Statement: Mean Girls has become such an icon over the past ten years with its references and impact on pop culture. The reason I’m reviewing it today is because there’s an “October 3rd” line in the movie, and October 3rd is National Mean Girls day or something…

But anyway, let’s get back to that first intro statement and dive into this review. Mean Girls is not a chick-flick. If you want me to be entirely honest, it’s a social satire on the political hierarchies and class system of what it means to be in high school.

Gotham Pilot Review

The Pilot episode of Gotham is by far the best pilot episode of a show I’ve seen so far this year, and realistically one of my favorite pilots possibly ever.

At this point, if you don’t know what Gotham is, you’re kidding me. But here we go! Gotham is the origin story of all the characters from Batman’s Gotham City, mainly centering around Detective Jim Gordon and the police force.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One Official Trailer Review

Let me say right off the bat what I’ve said since the end of June: Mockingjay Part One has the potential to be the best of the Hunger Games films. And this trailer has made me even more confident of that.

I loved the first official trailer to Mockingjay (Part One) so much, I don’t even know where to begin in dissecting it. I guess I loved the tone overall.
